WordPress is one of the most used CMS’s out there. Producing simple plugins, themes, and extras for WordPress opens the door to a huge market. One of the best strategies for product development is to find a problem in your market and create a push button software solution. In this case we are answering the old question “how do I mask my affiliate links?”

The funny thing is how simple the solution is, a 301 redirect or iframe. The majority of challenges I see most internet marketers have is a lack of technical knowledge. In other markets I have come to expect this, but it is counter-intuitive to think most internet marketers lack basic programming skills.

Truth is most people are sold on the guru mentality of making money, just outsource the technical stuff and focus on the marketing. To me innovation is the key to true success, and I think the IM world is severely lacking in this department because of the lack of technical knowledge. You can’t outsource innovation.
